Warranty, Refunds and Exchange Policies:

• We have never had a blade returned for either it's finish or performance. We have tested our blades head-to-head against units such as the Air X Marine and found our 6 foot blade, as predicted, puts out 2 - 3 times the power in the same winds.

• We have had a Mac user ask for a refund of our CD, which is made for IBM compatible Windows computers. We did have a customer cancel an order when snow began to fall and they were unable to mount their gen and we had 2 blades ordered that were wide and torquey (they said they had low winds) and we suggested they would get more power from a better profile (we custom carve blades for customers) and they asked for a swap (free). So far, those are the only exchange and the CD was a return. We have never had anyone ask for a refund due to either the noise level (we make a very quiet blade) or performance of our NASA airfoils.

• Our mission is to provide a fine blade and generator, classes and support to insure you have obtained 'the lowest cost per amp' of any wind generator system on the market. If eBay is the measuring stick, we make the finest wood NASA, NACA and NREL airfoils on the planet; so fine in fact a NASA Ames physicist with 35 years of wind tunnel testing asks us to carve his blades.

• Towards that end we provide a 100% No Questions Asked, Satisfaction Guarantee. We are the only wind generator manufacturer who custom carves blades to local wind conditions free of charge.

• Your responsibility as a Buyer of this or any product is to read and follow the installation instructions, try the unit to insure we delivered what you ordered and we promised, and please, ask questions whenever you encounter problems.

• This wind generator and website were constructed by teachers and we want to teach YOU!.

  Proceeds go to our 'Free PCs for Kids' labs which we've been teaching for 20+ years and we provide free support for the life of your system. We've designed classes for Wadsworth/Thomson Learning, one of the largest e-learning publishers in the world and we learned our lessons in blade carving, foil design and wind gens from Jerry, the NASA physicist who has made these blades for 25+ years for his sailboat. He liked our carve so much, he's asked US to carve his blades! We try to deliver a quality product at an affordable price with great support.

• To that end, we've loaded the website with easy to follow diagrams covering most situations. If you can't find the answer you are looking for please write us and often we'll set up a new webpage just for your particular situation.

• If, after following the instructions, asking questions and setting up your wind generator for 30 days, you are dissatisfied with the blade or generator output, return your products in resellable condition for a full refund, no questions asked and no restocking charges.

• Buyer bears shipping and handling charges, as well as custom coatings and artwork, custom wood stock lengths or airfoils and custom mounts.

• If you have returned a custom made blade (i.e. custom colors), we will try to reauction it for you; Buyer bears difference in price and at all times, any auction or credit card fees.

• In some circumstances, if we can locate another Buyer who wishes to have your generator or blade size and you want a different size, you'll receive a refund of your shipping charges for that item as well, provided they receive your items in good condition. This allows you to change the generator for a larger or smaller one or want a different blade if you over/underestimated your local wind speeds. We exchange these size requests at no charge.

• In some blade lengths and overseas locations, such as England, Australia, New Zealand and others, length restrictions apply to packages (i.e. 60 inches to much of the U.K.). If the blade length you order cannot be shipped at a price you wish to pay, we will try to upgrade your wood type to a premium wood at no additional charge in order to ship a blade of the length that your country accepts. The premium wood upgrades are usually $20-$40 and there is no charge for this if we have to knock a foot off your blades in order to ship to you. • If, after ordering your product and before trying it, you 'change your mind', depending on the blade's length, foil shape, finish and generator, we will try to find a customer who may want that particular type of blade or generator and ask them to contact you directly. If we have purchased your wood stock and begun carving your blade and you cancel before trying the blade for 30 days as described above, a 20% restocking fee applies for the wood stock purchased, carving and coating charges etc.

• If your blade or generator does not match another customer's order at the time of your refund and you ordered the wind gen and never 'installed and tried' the product, a 20% restocking fee will apply, as well as any shipping and handling charges, special order charges (generators or custom finishes or foil shapes or types of wood), custom artwork, coatings etc., that were particular to your order. Since each blade (standard and custom colors) are carved to order, this applies whether or not your equipment has been received when you 'change your mind'.

  The exception to this is if you notify us BEFORE we have ordered your wood and begun carving your blade or ordered your generator. In that case no restocking charge will apply. The stock purchase, carving, finish, coating and balance process is described in detail on our website.

• If you wish to keep the blade and return the generator or upgrade to a larger generator, we will credit you $25.00 towards the larger generator or refund $25.00 so you can purchase one elsewhere. Once again, if we can find a Buyer who wants your original generator, we will also credit you for the original shipping and handling charge. This type of exchange can happen if you under or overestimated the wind in your region and we want you to get the most out of your system. • If you wish to upgrade the blade to a longer length or upgrade the coating to the LPU yacht paint coating and you return your original blade to us in good, resellable condition, there is NO CHARGE for the exchange (standard blades) and we will charge the standard difference (i.e. a 4 ft. blade to a 6 ft. blade is a $20.00 difference), provided the coatings are the same and there are no chips, dings etc. on the finish. Any changes in coating or type of wood will have to be adjusted; i.e. from Douglas Fir to Mahogany is a $25.00 difference.

• All generators are special ordered to match your blade and we sell them BELOW COST exclusively for blade customers: we do not keep them in stock, but order them on your behalf at a fixed price (subject to change without notice), often costing our blade customers LESS then the generators cost us!

  If you wish to order a generator seperately or have ordered a blade and generator and wish to return the blade and keep the generator, our standard generator price is $70.00, plus any s/h charges, as several vendors have 'run out', and they are getting more expensive and rare. • If you wish to return any special ordered mounts or circuits, we will again, try to find a Buyer who wants your components, however since most of our website is geared towards 'build it yourself and save'; customers, these components are difficult to exchange and custom mount or circuit work is generally nonrefundable.

• To prevent CD piracy, we do not refund CD or class orders once you have received either the CD and password or online class passwords. We do replace defect media free of charge and we pay all s/h charges for such replacements.

• We always make updated CD classes available free to our CD and online class students. The complete online classes are $24.95 and at all times, once you have received the online class password the charge is nonrefundable. Once we have mailed the CD, you are responsible for any CD class charges. Again, we replace defective media at no charge. The rough cut blades come with the Mount and Circuit classes free, including making mounts for under $25.00 and circuits from simple to complex, as well as battery desulfators, alternator modifications etc. Blade carving students get this class as well as the complete carve, finish, balance and testing courses.

• At all times, as with all products from any vendor, unless we can locate a Buyer who wants the items you are exchanging or returning (we will try), Buyer bears all s/h charges, boxing, bubble wrap, credit card and/or auction fees incurred.
