OVERVIEW TOPICS

  1. About You and this class.

  2. About The Money.

  3. About Our Planet.

  4. About Renewable Energy.

  5. About Gold Pact Power.

  6. About BTUBank.

  7. Your next step.

  1. About You and this class:

So, you're thinking about your own alternative energy business? You could be selling wind, bio-fuels and solar right now. Are you an outgoing person who liked working in the field, shaking hands and meeting land owners, politicians and utility companies, or are you more of a quiet back-room person who prefers to work through a computer, emails and phone calls. Like any industry, different jobs in renewable energy require different skills, personalities and offer different schedules. If your idea of a great day is getting into a suit and knocking on (or knocking down) doors, great - you can earn a lot of money with this class.

If you are a bit of a shy person and prefer to work through the computer, you can also make a lot of money, but you will need to be more careful about who you contact, how you spend your time and what documents and publications you send out - and understand. You can't send out documents you don't understand, any more than you can go out into the field and hand documents to a community leader without being able to explain every sentence on the document in detail.

For both folks in the field and folks working from home, part of this class series involves learning to give presentations: it might be a face-to-face meeting with 1 or 30 or even 100 people - in which case you'll need a wall projector that plugs into a laptop. These cost about $100 - $300. If might be that you simply send a link to a contact and they go through a presentation with you on the phone (or a GPP engineer), and explain each frame in detail. Either way, in addition to learning about the documentation, you'll need to understand the presentations.

For someone who wants to work from home with flexible hours (i.e. a single mother), these classes and the job is ideal - you can set your own hours, work out flexible appointment schedules so your children are in school or day care while you work and even limit your meetings to large groups once or twice a month so you can educate a lot of people in one shot. Make no mistake - with renewable energy booming across the nation and around the world, and with most people confused by myths, misinformation and trying to learn this stuff piece-meal on the web, your number one job isn't salesman or energy broker or web marketing:

Your number one job is as a Teacher.

Approach this job like that and you'll be fine.

  2. About The Money:

How much can you expect to earn? That depends on a couple of things, mostly how much time you put into this: anywhere from $50,000 - $5,000,000 a year and more. Yes - you could easily be earning 7 figures with the information you'll learn in this (ahem) FREE class. But if you expect that tomorrow you're going to wake up and be worth a million dollars - no way - forget it - that's not realistic. Therefore, we recommend that you DO NOT QUIT YOUR DAY JOB.

Lets say you were a great singer - you knew it and everyone else did to and you said "I'm going to Hollywood - someone will discover me and I'll earn a million dollars." Fine. We wish you the best. But chances are you're going to have to be a waitress in Hollywood for years, sometimes decades, and more often than not - FOREVER - before you ever get the big break and earn a million dollars - that's life. Get used to it.

The good news is you can probably earn MORE in renewable energy and do it faster than you could break down doors in Hollywood, and you don't need a Record Producer to discover you. All you need is to be thoroughly educated and then follow some very simple steps, learn to be a teacher first, then a contract negotiator second (we show you that too), then simply stay organized, show up on time looking like a million bucks and chances are you will get to that level of income pretty fast - perhaps in under a year, but 2 - 3 years is more realistic.

In the meantime, you're going to be struggling: "Is this worth it? Will I ever earn a dime? What can I do to improve my odds?" Many questions of self-doubt will haunt you and chances are your family will tell you that you are wasting your time. Here is a story to help you get a grip on your demons and decide if you can cut through the negative people and go for the gold:

"I was earning $150K a year in software and when the dot-bomb hit in 2000 I couldn't even make enough to pay rent living on a sailboat at a marina, so I moved my boat to the anchorage where its free. I was determined to Build a Million Dollar Web Site - its a programmer's disease we all have. A NASA Physicist who lived on a boat at the marina said I would need a wind generator out at anchor - to make electricity for my laptop and lights - and for 6 years I studied under him and learned to make wooden windgen blades. I never thought I'd sell them - they were just for me and a few others out at anchor.

They gave me the electricity I needed to build a million dollar web site - which never happened. I finally broke down and said FINE - I WILL BE A WOOD CARVER SO I CAN EAT and those wind gen blades took off like a rocket. As a result of continually adding new classes to the site (I had designed educational systems for several firms), I ended up building the biggest renewable energy web site on Earth. This class is just one of many classes at this site.

Well, in the early days my web work was pretty bad (and still is) - but the content was good, and we helped a lot of people all over the world. Pretty soon I was asked to design megawatt wind farms and now I've written new energy law for foreign nations (I have a background in law and audits), and finally incorporated the business which is now holding or negotiating over $400 billion in contracts to build renewable energy facilities all over the world.

During all that time all my friends constantly told me I was nuts (I am) and that I should get a W-2 day job or go work as a bartender. I did odd jobs (i.e. IBEW Electrician) and carved blades to eat - but I stayed focus on what I wanted - a million dollar web site. I just never imagined it would lead us where it did or that we'd have the business that grew from those simple windgen blades. There's one hanging on the wall at the local Ketch Joanne Restaurant and Harbor Bar and the people in this community (including the owner of that restaurant who is an old friend) all still think I am a poor bum - I still dress like one and only a few close friends around here who work with the firm know the truth: I still own 100% of the stock in that $400B company and I like my life just the way it is - nice and quiet.

I don't think you're going to beat the track record I had - you'll be going up against folks like BP, FPL, Vestas, GE Wind and others. You're welcome to try, but I suggest you consider something else: partner with us and we pour a tremendous amount of our net profits back into YOU - the people who keep GPP alive and well on the ground - and into the communities we serve. We donate 20% of our net profits back to local schools, youth and family agencies and offer free power for schools. If that isn't enough ammo to hand you so you can knock down plenty of doors and earn that million a year (or more - much more), I don't know what is.

Good luck whatever you decide - and never let go of your dreams. You may or may not make it and life has some pretty funny twists and turns along the way, but no matter what, be true to what you believe inside and don't let anyone stop you: and don't quit your day job. If you have to be a wood carver and eat sawdust while you build your company - do it. I did and I still love carving a blade with hand tools now and then for the art."

  3. About Our Planet.

Humans are breeding like rabbits and consuming everything in sight. We pollute our rivers, oceans, skies and everything we touch. If you want to be part of the solution - great - we need you in this Army - and GPP is rewarding people who want to help heal a planet torn by war, pollution and stupid environmental policies. Despite the clear evidence that we are destroying this planet and need to change course quickly, the biggest nations on Earth couldn't even come up with a united plan at the last Copenhagen convention.

That means its up to you and your neighbors and firms like GPP. If you think politicians or scientists are going to save us - forget it. And if you think the planet is going to get healthy on its own while we continue to pollute rivers and aquifers, you're leaving a train-wreck disaster for your children to clean up.

    We're smarter than that.

  4. About Renewable Energy:

There are a lot of options for creating energy to create power for homes, factories and agriculture activities. Unfortunately, we've depended on the easy stuff - coal, oil, gas - for more than a century. These energy sources are running out and we are beyond Peak Oil. That means that energy prices are going to continue to rise - probably go through the roof - and that means people all over the world are going to have a hard time getting food, water and power, let alone have enough energy to continue to drive the factories that make economies thrive.

This is evident in the recent global crash. Analysts give a lot of reasons, but it really boils down to the price of energy: if energy was still cheap and if resources weren't running out, we could make all the food and water and consumer goods everyone needed. That isn't the situation anymore and everyone around the world is suffering because of this simple equation: when resources begin to decline, so does the standard of living for everyone except the very rich.

So, not only will we have to develop new sources of energy, but we're going to have to learn to develop sustainable solutions that aren't going to "run dry" in another 50 - 100 years. Right now automakers are ramping up production of all-electric vehicles. Its the big rage today, but one look at lithium salts used in the batteries for these cars tells us that this is a fad and unless a new battery is developed.

At GPP we look for solutions that will continue to work 100 - 1000 years or more (or longer).

Many people believe solar is an answer: its an expensive proposition that only makes sense in areas that lack wind power.

There are many regions with sufficient wind and its fairly easy (expensive - but possible) to provide many nations with all the energy they need from wind power.

  5. About Gold Pact Power.

GPP was founded by a software engineer who also worked with kids, youth and family agencies - and one of the youth counselors he knew. Our goal was to build a wind farm company that actually cared for the communities we served. We figured that if these communities were healthy, thriving and the people were happy, educated and well-employed, they'd have a better chance of actually paying for the electricity required to keep it that way.

There are many nations and communities around the world where this is not the case: utilities are going bankrupt and communities are caving in, followed by their State and National governments. This leads to civil strife, revolutions and a host of problems - all of which can be avoided if you start with the basic premise that if you take care of the people and make their lives better, the companies that are involved in that community will also do well.

That's GPP in a nutshell - and hopefully that's the kind of company you want to work with.

We're not sure what you will be doing with GPP, but here's a short list of possibilities:

    • Field Rep - average locals shaking hands with people in their communities and doing preliminary negotiations on wind farms and other renewable energy facilities. You can earn a lot of money (tons) doing this, since its our primary focus and our program is designed to pay our Field Reps well - very well. Once a facility is set up in your area, your primary job is working with the schools and youth centers to make sure the grant money is distributed to valid programs. While doing this you'll be expanding GPP's base of operations and those two activities keep you plenty busy.

This job was designed specifically for single parents who need a flexible schedule, although anyone can do it. We love working with retired teachers, retired military personnel, nurses, educators, youth counselors and even politicians and bankers who want to see their communities thrive.

You'll get a free website as part of the class and we'll show you how to drive traffic to your site and organize your community for action.

    • Engineers and Apprentice Programs: GPP's founder was in the IBEW and believes the folks on the ground doing the welding, concrete and electrical work deserve a great wage. Its a grunt job and we are a hustle kind of company: while we do encourage Unions, we do not tolerate the slacker Union worker that often says "Slow down - this job has to last for 3 months." GPP's founder has been on sites where that's the way people think and if that's the way you work, go elsewhere - please.

If you're a hitter who steps up to the plate and knocks out home runs, sprints around the bases - works hard - plays hard - and loves competition - that's the kind of engineer or apprentice we want to meet.

    • Legal Staff: Before entering the finance, audits and utility industry, GPP's founder worked for a retired Federal Judge and Judge Pro Tem. We love lawyers (ethical ones) and if you're an attorney struggling to make your practice work - stop - we can give you a career path that will knock your socks off and help your local community thrive at the same time, while putting plenty of cash in your bank account.

  6. About BTUBank:

Speaking of bank accounts, you may want to explore working with BTUBank, or even starting your own branch. BTUBank is a spin off of GPP and like many GPP programs, is designed to help communities enjoy the lion's share of the revenue from renewable energy projects. If you and your neighbors want to start your own BTUBank, please review some of the tutorials there and see if the program is right for you. Even if you don't have a dime to your name, if you're organized and can learn the steps, you can help put together a new BTUBank and from there, help GPP develop a series of projects in your community.

  7. Your next step:

This tutorial was simply an overview of some of the potential places you could work in renewable energy. There are other areas, like carbon trading, learning to sell power across State lines and many areas we aren't going to go into here - until we know you and trust you and believe you have the capability of learning and working with a team that cares about communities.

Your next step is to explore some of the other tutorials at GPP's web site and if you like what you see, sign up as a Field Rep or other position and get started learning the material specific for your job.

Take care and whatever you do - don't let anyone stop you from living your dreams. You just never know how life may work out - but one thing is for sure:

"To win in the game of life
you have to show up at the starting line."
